Hydrosila is one of the largest factories within the corporation Hydrosila GROUP.
At the territory of CIS and Baltic countries Hydrosila takes the leading positions on designing and manufacturing hydraulic units for tractors, harvesters, agricultural, road-building and other mobile machines. Nowadays the quantity of gear pumps and axial-piston units produced at factories of Hydrosila GROUP exceed the quantity of the same products of other companies.
Manufacturing of gear pumps was masterd in 1955, and at the market of hydrostatic transmissions the factory started its work in 1980, after purchasing license of Sauer-Sundstrand, Germany.
Closed production cycle includes all stages of manufacturing, from founding to assembly and testing of products. The factory is located in Kirovograd, Ukraine and occupies 146 000 sq. m, 75 000 sq.m are manufacturing area.
Bureau Veritas Quality International certified the quality management system of JSC “Hydrosila” in accordance with the requirements of an International Standard ISO 9001:2000.
HISTORY:
The history of enterprise began in February 1930 with the establishment of locksmiths and mechanical workshop employing about 57 people. In two years, the workshop already made first products such as pan scales, winches, beer pumps, forges, furnaces, grey iron castings, type-setting machines of type "Agitka".
1955
The year 1955 became a turning point in the history of the factory. In January 1955 the enterprise was taken over by the Ministry of Tractor and Agricultural Machinery of the USSR which set to the factory a new and a rather difficult task: to manage the production of water pumps and oil pumps for the engine U5-M made by Kharkov Factory “Sickle and Hammer”("Serp i Molot").
1958
Not laying off, at the factory managed to renew the product range, mastered the manufacturing of water pumps and oil pumps for the engine SMD 1, and – what was especially important - hydraulic gear pumps of type NSH-40V, further NSH-32U-2 gear pump which later became most wholesale.
1959
There was organized a group of engineers to design gear pumps for excavators (named as Chief RD Department). In 1960, was formed a crew for experimental assignments (which grew subsequently into an experimental workshop), and a testing hydro laboratory. Thus, at the Factory, there was established the Chief RD Department which grew into a Branch RD Department and subsequently became the Head Specialized RD Department.
The first achievement made by the Chief RD Department was the design and producing gear pumps NSH-32E based on gear pump NSH-40V. Main parts of new pumps were already manufactured with the first and second grades of accuracy; the new pumps greatly exceeded the previous analogs in longevity and performance index.
1962
RD Department of the factory developed original gear pumps NSH-67 and NSH-98 (known today as NSH-71 and NSH-100). Home industry had never before made such kind of pumps. Completely new construction, supported by inventors certificate was used for pumps design. The design was granted patents in Great Britain, France, Italy, BRD. Wholesale manufacture of these pumps started in 1968. Further such pumps became widely-used and well-known under the nickname “round” ones.
1967
Introduced new, high-capacity gear pumps NSH-160 and NSH-250. Gear pump NSH-250 was manufactured exclusively by JSC "Hydrosila" and up to these days is applied as component of heavy-duty tractors made by Chelyabinsk and Cheboksary tractor plants, so as dump trucks.
1968
Started manufacturing of unified gear pumps NSH-32U.
1972
Introduced NMSH series used for gear-box control, mounted on the new powerful tractors such as T-150, T-150K (made by Kharkov Tractor Works), K-700 (made by Petersburg Tractor Works), T-330 and T-500 (made by Cheboksary Tractor Works).
The same year at the factory was manufactured the whole pump series of own design: NSH-З2, NSH-50, NSH-67(71), NSH-98(100), NSH-160, NSH-250; a new pump generation, for engines SMD; and gear pump-motors NMSH25 and NMSH50.
The technical achievements of the factory were highly estimated by the officials of Ministry of Tractor and Agricultural Machinery. Thus the factory was entrusted with mastering of fundamentally new for the industry of the USSR, axial-piston hydraulic drive.
1977
Formed the Chief RD Department for Axial Piston Units.
1978
Started a new stage on the way of developing more special hydraulic drives. Were made first steps on the way of introduction Axial-Piston Motors – Hydrostatic Transmission (GST) for agricultural machinery under license of Sauer-Sundstrand Co., Germany. It took hardly two and a half years to manage manufacturing of hydrostatic transmissions GST90.
1983
By the order of Minister of Agricultural and Tractor Machine-Building Branch, the factory was renamed to Kirovograd factory of the Honor Sign Order “Hydrosila”. The hydrostatic transmission GST90 was granted a State Quality Mark.
1990
Desingned and tested new hydrostatic transmission GST112, followed by GST33 and GST71 - 33 and 71cc/rev displacement variants.
1994
The factory was reorganised to Open Joint Stock Company "Hydrosila". The factory survived. We managed to save the qualified staff and manufacturing facilities.
1999
In the second half of 1999, the plant was headed by the new director general – Mr. Yuriy Titov and due to taken anti-crisis measures, the financial situation became stable, and started a new stage.
Since 1999 started the great increase of manufacturing capacities, development and introduction of quality management system, establishing sales network and search of regional partners that were entirely absent earlier, when the whole factory was carried out under the multiple purchase order of State Planning Committee.
There were stated basic strategic goals:
- Increasing of manufacturing capacity;
- Wide developing of the product range;
- increasing of product quality;
- modernization of machinery and improvement of the used technologies;
- reduction of process costs;
- setting up an effective sales network;
- introduction of world standards in the factory management;
- development of social sphere and favorable conditions for personnel;
- strengthening of the leading position in the market of hydraulics among the CIS and Baltic countries
Gear pumps of types NSH-50UF-3, NSH-32U-3 were introduced into manufacturing, so as the pump NSH-6FB equipped with an integrated intake filter and a relief valve.
2000
For the first time, there were commercial scale supplies of gear pumps to an assembly line one of the tractor plants abroad.
3, March 2000
Bureau Veritas Quality International certified the quality management system of JSC “Hydrosila” in accordance with the requirements of an International Standard ISO 9001:2000.
The availability of the certificate increased the consumers’ confidence to the products of Hydrosila.
2001-2002
Designed and introduced gear pump NSH-10U-3. In order to increase the capacities for the pump manufacturing so as to improve its quality, there were purchased two 4-coordinate high-speed machining centres MIKRON HCE 400P.
As the demand for gear pump U type was high, were developed modernized pumps of UK series with displacements of 32 and 50 cсm/rev. Due to the application of new engineering solutions, was reached reduction of metal consuming and increased reliability and technical characteristics of these pumps.
2002
Since April 01, 2002, management of the manufacturing processes was realized under MRP II standard on the basis of information management system ERP-class, BAAN IV.
2003-2004
Designed and itroduced gear pumps, series Д displacement 4 to 20 ccm/rev and 19, 28, 32 ccm/rev, mounting dimensions under DIN and SAE standards.
Mastered manufacturing of gear pumps NSH-100G-4, NSH-140G-4, NSH-150G-4 and NSH-180G-4 displacement from 63 to 200 ccm/rev.
Modernized axial-piston pump of type NAPOR equipped with automatic displacement control and hydraulic LS control. Designed a range of pumps with displacements of 25, 45 and 63 ccm/rev.
Developed and introduced pumping units TN90-1 and TN112-2, designed on the basis of variable axial piston pumps, optionally coupled with one or multiple gear pumps. The pumping unit TN112-2, which has no domestic analogues, was designed and produced by order of Rostselmach Combine Plant as a component of a new harvester "Vector". Furtherthe unit became a winner of the competition "100 Best Goods of Ukraine".
Since May 2005, factory management was fulfilled by Director General Mr. Oleksandr Shamshur.
2009 - manufacturing of axial-piston units was organized as separate factory out of Hydrosila and named Hydrosila APM, Private SC.
Since March 2016 Mr. Evgeniy Zasinets became new Director General.
Today
Product range enlargement, maintenance of high quality and future trends are directly related to the used techniques and facilities. Therefore, at the factory is fulfilled programm of technological innovations and re-equipment of facilities. Lately, is used a number of high accuracy modern machines made by leading western and domestic manufacturers: twelve cnc machining centers, gear processing machines, coordinate boring machines and circular face-grinding machines so as pressure die casting machines. Great attention is paid to the machine building on our own for which the investments grew four times. The development and manufacturing of machines on our own intended to enhance the capacities of the existing production and introduction of new products. There are operated the following machinery: band saws intended for topping, special milling machines and broaches, test units, multiple-head milling, thread-cutting, diamond boring machines.
Therefore, at the enterprise, there was implemented the standard for manufacturing management MRPII, carried out on the basis of system - BaanERP.
The BaanERP system is one of world leaders in the sphere of the complex automation of industrial enterprises. The system successfully functions at such industrial world leaders as Boeing, FIAT, Mercedes, Marconi, Komatsu, Śkoda, Volkswagen, Volvo, Hyundai, KAMAZ, BELAZ, URALAZ and others.
Using ERP-system as a strong instrument enables the factory to fulfill deliveries of products to consumers exactly and in time, quickly meet the changing demand for products so as maintain optimal prices of products.
Quality management system ISO 9001 is certified since 2000 and was succesfully re-certified in 2008.
Nowadays at the factory are introduced such managing tools as Kaizen, 6Sigma, JIT, 5S.
Products
As a leader on the market of hydraulics Hydrosila should be ahead in design and manufacturing of more functional and efficient hydraulic units. In accordance with the situation in the sphere of manufacturing and requirements of its customers, our company keeps the way оf intensive enlargement of the product range. Hydrosila produces hydraulic units applied on harvesters, tractors, road-building and other mobile machines:
- gear pumps with displacement 4 up to 250 cm3, with linkage dimensions under standards ГОСТ, DIN and SAE;
- low pressure oil gear pumps;
- hydraulic gear motors with displacements of 32 and 50 cm3;
- multiple gear pumps;
- gear pumps NSH-6FB-3, consisting of relief valve, oil reservoir with a built-in filter, charging port and air bleeder. The pumps are applied for steering systems of tractors, agricultural and other machinery;
- gear pumps NSH32UKP-0 with a flow limiting and a relief valve, used in hydraulic steering systems of trucks, tractors, agricultural and other machines.
