Modernized MP80 Hydraulic Directional Control Valve Now Available

Since May 2012, HYDROSILA has offered the modernized MP80 hydraulic directional control valve, featuring improved performance and a housing with side hydraulic line connections.

The new design is particularly suitable for companies operating older machinery with hydraulic systems that require a fixed valve mounting arrangement.

Key improvements of the modernized MP80 valve include:

• Extended service life: 375,000 operating cycles — 50% longer than conventional P80 valves and 25% longer than HYDROSILA P80 Series valves.

• Improved pressure relief valve: ensures stable operation at pressures of up to 25 MPa (pressure rating version 4) throughout the valve's service life.

• Improved check valve: ensures smooth, proportional movement of the hydraulic actuator.

In addition, MP80 hydraulic directional control valves are fully interchangeable with conventional P80 units and can be installed on existing machinery as direct replacements.
